Greenjets to establish its Indian operations in the state of Telangana

As part of their plan to enter the Indian drone market this year, Greenjets has announced that they will establish their Indian operations in the state of Telangana. Having already signed an MoU with the National Centre of Additive Manufacturing, Hyderabad is set to be incubated in 2023 with plans to grow its R&D and manufacturing footprint significantly in 2024. Greenjets’ sights are also set on launching a technical collaboration with a Hyderabad based motor manufacturer, under the recently launched 'India – UK Collaborative R&D for industrial sustainability' funding opportunity.

To discuss collaborations, Greenjets CEO, Anmol Manohar, met with Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (Shri KTR Ji), Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration for the Government of Telangana. The Minister imparted his ambitious plan for the State of Telangana to be net-zero by 2047, envisioning Greenjets as a key asset in supporting this transition.

The Minister has offered Greenjets government support, investment options and connections to the local aerospace industry . Moreover, he shared plans to set up an aeronautical university in India, and looked to Greenjets to become a key industrial partner.  Also involved in these discussions were Greenjets’ CTO, Dr. Guido Monterzino, Chief Engineer, Michael Sheath and Head of Airframes, Darren James.
